![]() ![]() ![]() Two games in and we're already seeing a trend: Rogue-likes! I am a huge fan of the original Hammerwatch game and played it to death while it was in early access/beta. Even if all I know about it is that it's a spaceship simulation game. Couple that with the fact that I'm a huge fan of Rogue-likes and Rogue-lites and I've got a game that I'm all but guaranteed to like. I've heard that it's aged very well and that it's super fun to play. FTL: Faster Than LightĪt a whopping $3 when on sale, Faster Than Light is claimed by many to be an absolute steal. I don't know too much about them so far other than that at one point or another they'd piqued my interest, but here's what I do know about each. I've been trying to get into the habit of playing all of the games I own before buying new ones, so these are still a couple back in the queue, but are rapidly approaching the front! Travel into a custom-written pop soundtrack, chase rates, and set out to discover the harmony of the world, buried away in the hearts of Little Death and her star-crossed allies: Dancing Devils, Howling Moons, Stereo Lovers and Hermit 64.I recently acquired a few new games for my birthday from my Steam wishlist that I'm super excited to play.A diamond butterfly appears in her dreams and leads her through a highway in the sky, where she finds her other self: the masked biker called The Fool. As the heart of a young lady breaks, the balance of the world is shaken.The game is a fantastic arcade game about driving motorbikes, skateboarding, dancing fight, firing lasers, wielding weapons, and breaking hearts at 200 mph.It’s a really exciting way for storytelling, music, and beat, Story is brief, you can beat it in like an hour BUT the game begins here. The most important thing to say! it’s a really private narrative about self-acceptance and the personal battle of emotions, a trip into passions that are within us, sometimes just to be glad we need to struggle to face those negative emotions that won’t allow you believe who you are. ![]()
